Hodge's Appeal Denied by NCAA
VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Villanova freshman Matthew Hodge's academic eligibility appeal has been denied by the NCAA, the university was informed on Wednesday. The Initial Eligibility Waiver Committee's decision is binding. Hodge is considered an academic redshirt, and though he will receive financial aid and is permitted to travel and practice with the team, he is not eligible for competition in the 2024-25 season.
