A petition was created this week to support President Tamás Sulyok's continued tenure, with nearly 70,000 people signing it between Monday and Wednesday morning. Hungary's next prime minister, Péter Magyar, has called on Sulyok to step down by the end of May. Otherwise, the Tisza party, which won the recent parliamentary elections, will file a motion to impeach the head of state.
