Slovenian ski jumper Domen Prevc (143 and 141 m, 303.1) won the World Cup race in Garmisch Partenkirchen. In the second race of the New Year's tour in Germany, Austrian Jan Hörl was second behind the leader in the Cup and tour (141 and 131.5 m, 287.7), while the latter's compatriot Stephan Embacher was third (134 and 141.5 m, 287.1).
