Body Found in Burning Vehicle in Victoria
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Victoria Police Department Major Crime Unit began investigating after a body was found in a burning vehicle on the 700-block of Queens Avenue, discovered by an officer at 7 a.m.
The Victoria Fire Department extinguished the flames within minutes of arrival, prompting officials to close the 700-block to traffic and establish detours as police secured the scene.
Dashcam footage from anyone who traveled along Douglas Street or Blanshard Street near the Queens Avenue intersection between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. is requested to aid investigators.
