A Victoria mom is fighting to get her son a service dog to help with neurodivergent needs, after years of waitlists and denials. For Nicole Bengtsson, her life is scheduled by the hour. Every day, she checks which tasks she needs to do for her son, Cory Parker, who has several conditions. “Autism, functional neurological disorder, anxiety, depression, complex PTSD…obsessive compulsive disorder,” said Bengtsson.
