Victoire sign two-time Olympian Emma Maltais to two-year contract
Emma Maltais brings 38 career regular-season points and Olympic experience to the reigning Walter Cup champions.
On Tuesday, the Montreal Victoire signed forward Emma Maltais to a two-year contract, the reigning Professional Women's Hockey League champions announced.
Maltais, a 26-year-old forward, previously played three seasons with the Toronto Sceptres, appearing in every game and recording 38 points across 84 regular-season contests.
Representing Canada, the two-time Olympian won Gold at the 2022 Beijing Olympics and Silver at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games, plus three gold and two silver world championship medals.
She joins a Victoire squad fresh off its first Walter Cup title, playing alongside superstar teammate Marie-Philip Poulin from the Canadian women's national team.
The Professional Women's Hockey League is currently in its Open Signing Period, with the 2026-27 season adding expansion teams in Las Vegas, San Jose, Detroit, and Hamilton.
