DRYDEN, N.Y. — The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people who died in an early-morning house fire Friday in Dryden. Officials said the blaze, which took over 13 hours to extinguish, posed a significant challenge due in part to the “oppressive” heat and humidity that day.
