Victim identified in Newell Drive shooting

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office identified Monday the victim in a deadly weekend shooting. Deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Newell Drive and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and attempted to render aid to the victim. The victim of Saturday’s fatal fall from the cliffs beneath 6625 Del Playa Drive has been identified as 23-year-old Jacob William Aladar Parker, a 2023 graduate of UCSB and current resident of San Diego.
