Veterans remembered in service at Flint’s McFarlan Veterans Memorial Park
- The Mesilla Valley Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart will hold a Memorial Day Candlelight Ceremony at Veterans Park in Las Cruces, New Mexico to pay tribute to 204 local veterans who died in action. A candle will be lit for each of the veterans and left to flicker overnight, and families and volunteers are asked to arrive by 7 p.m., with the ceremony starting at 8 p.m.
