For Thursday the service union Verdi called for hospital workers to strike. The goal: more money and more appreciation.
In the industrial dispute with the federal government and municipalities, the Verdi trade union has called for a nationwide warning strike in the health care sector. In Berlin, for example, there is a call for locations of the Charité and the Vivantes clinics.
Verdi will take over the Aeronautics Technology Union (TGL) on 1 July. This is what Verdi said. One of the largest trade unions in the country wants to expand its presence in the field of aeronautics technology.
The Ver.di trade union called for strikes in Baden-Württemberg clinics on Wednesday. There is a threat of surgical and bed closures, but emergency services are occupied.
