Veera Kallio, Minna Salakari, Anita Viitasalo: Vocational school is not a dead end – for many young people it is a path to higher education

Before the last election, several different parties promised that education would be off the cut list. However, things changed when the current government took action to balance the economy. There is still talk that education is under special protection, but for some reason this does not apply to vocational schools, which will be cut by 120 million euros.
