Despite the renewed price increase in the German public transport ticket, most customers adhere to the subscription.
On 1 January, the price of the ticket has risen from 58 to 63 euros, but customers have been left to react. Now, the price should be increased further.
The financing of the Deutschlandticket is a permanent issue. At the beginning of the year, it will be more expensive for the second time since the introduction. However, the feared wave of termination remains. Although many millions use the ticket, the head of the Verbandschef Wortmann still looks air to the top.
Since January, the Deutschlandticket costs 63 euros a month. According to an industry association, a wave of cancellations at the turn of the year has failed despite the price increase.
The German ticket has cost five euros more since January. Nevertheless, most customers remain true to the public transport subscription. However, the VDV industry association still sees considerable potential.
