A hunting dog was affected by the disease of Aujeszky. This is what the analyses of the departmental Directorate of Population Protection (DDPP) say. The animal caught the virus after a beating to the wild boars and has since been euthanized.
Last week, the Association départementale des chasseurs de grand game (ADCGG 71) organized a conference on the disease of Aujeszky in Saint-Marcel, attended by some 50 people. The conference was moderated by Jean-Louis Laurent, veterinary doctor, former president of the ADCGG.
