Vandalism Reported At Mission Park – 710am KURV
A recently renovated park in Mission has been damaged by vandals. The city shared pictures on social media yesterday showing damage to a restroom at Lions Park. Authorities believe the damage happened over the weekend. The pictures showed a broken mirror and damage to the toilet paper, paper towel and hand soap dispensers. The city warned that vandalizing public property is a crime and that “these actions have consequences.”
The City of Mission indicated that three young people, one 17 years old, one 15 years old and one 13 years old, are suspected of being the perpetrators of the vandalism that took place in Lions Park, in the 1500 East of Kika De La Garza Loop, in the city mentioned above.
