Town Hall for Valley residents set for Monday

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WJBF) — In Aiken County, a Town Hall is coming up for the Valley community. It's Monday, October 6 at 6 p.m. Representative Melissa Oremus, Sheriff Marty Sawyer, and Burnettown Mayor Karen Jones will be there. They'll talk about community safety and the Valley's future. The event is in Building B, at the Aiken Tech gym. Turn in at the red light and follow the road to the back of campus.

The Valley Town Hall meeting will be held Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at Aiken Technical College Gymnasium. The event will include updates from SCDOT, Aiken County Schools, and Burnettown Mayor Karen Jones. Discussion topics will range from economic development to community engagement and public safety.
