Valley swim team makes waves at state

Valley’s recreational swim team recently competed in the Alabama Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) swim meet. Hosted by the Sand Mountain Park and Amphitheater in Albertville, AL, the tournament was held over two days and featured events for both boys and girls ages six through 18. The competitors qualified at the ARPA District Five Championship meet on July 12 and 13, out of the 41 swimmers, 29 moved forward to compete at the state level.…
