On Thursday (June 26), U.S. Defense Secretary Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Kaine held a joint press conference to detail the U.S. military's B-2 stealth bomber's airstrike on Iran's Fordow nuclear facility last Saturday using the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), and displayed several photos of the attack site, including annotated photos of the Fordow nuclear facility.
General Kane revealed that the bombers that took part in the attack targeted ventilation openings that had been covered with concrete slabs by the Iranians in advance. At the same time, the Defense Secretary insisted that he had no information that uranium had been removed from the site, but in Britain it was reported that according to initial estimates in Europe, Tehran had dispersed most of it elsewhere.
