- Executives from Indian Oil Corp., Bharat Petroleum Corp., and Hindustan Petroleum Corp. are currently in the United States negotiating annual contracts to meet the government's target of at least 15% of 2027 imports.
- While the United States remains the top supplier with 3.9 million tons shipped this year, LPG consumption plunged more than 16% to 2.35 million tons last month as shortages pushed households toward alternative fuels.
