- The firm also challenged the authenticity of a purported US Embassy letter circulated by Reno Omokri to defend Tinubu, warning that presenting fabricated US government documents carries serious legal consequences under US law.
- Among the errors flagged in the document were words such as "czheck" instead of "check" and "maitatins" rather than "maintains," alongside incorrect phrases like "nor information of your department" instead of "contact me directly."
- Members of Congress and senior congressional staff returned to Washington, and the firm "immediately began reaching out to our friends on Capitol Hill" to brief them on the allegations and a related Freedom of Information Act case.
- The lobbying group argued that policymakers should assess "whether President Tinubu represents a strategic asset or an increasing national-security liability," raising questions for United States officials regarding law enforcement cooperation and intelligence sharing.
