US Immigration Crackdown | Georgia to deploy National Guard troops to support federal ICE agents

As the immigration crackdown ramps up, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has announced the deployment of 75 National Guard troops to support Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The move comes as ICE arrests in Georgia have surged 367% this year, with more than 4,500 migrants detained. Under the Trump administration’s nationwide plan, Georgia joins 18 other states sending nearly 1,700 Guard members to back federal immigration enforcement.
