As State Department Office Combating Human Trafficking Faces Cuts, Former Leader Weighs In

UNITED STATES, JUL 17 – Maurene Comey was dismissed amid political backlash over Epstein case files as the State Department cut 1,353 jobs, slashing 15% of staff focused on combating human trafficking.
