SEOUL (Reuters) -The U.S. has demanded South Korea join efforts to curb China in trade talks, as the countries discuss cooperation in shipbuilding, a senior official from Seoul's trade ministry said on Friday.
A senior official from South Korea's Ministry of Trade said on Friday (July 11) that U.S. President Trump has expressed a positive intention to cooperate with South Korea in the field of shipbuilding, but the prerequisite is that South Korea needs to participate in the U.S. strategy to contain China.
