US Central Command commander Admiral Brad Cooper outlined security and trade developments in the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting crude oil shipments, commercial vessel transits, regional air defence efforts and cooperation with Gulf partners amid the ongoing war with Iran.
The US Central Command Commander confirmed, on Saturday, that the main transit corridors in the Strait of Hormuz were mine-free. He reported more than 2,000 merchant ships crossing through Hormuz by providing coordinated protection.
