The factory under construction in Mesquite, Texas, will soon produce tens of thousands of artillery projectiles per month, nearly doubling current U.S. production. It is the first major weapons factory built by the Pentagon since Russia invaded Ukraine, according to The New York Times and The Kyiv Independent.
