Malta, N.Y. — A man wielding a BB gun was fatally shot by Saratoga County troopers and sheriff deputies Thursday morning after he exited an apartment building he had barricaded himself in, troopers said.Brandon R. Moore, age 37, was shot before troopers and deputies knew that the firearm he had was a BB pistol, according to Stephanie O’Neil, a spokeswoman for the State Police.
