Upgrades for St. Urho statue stalled

The city of Menahga’s plan to install a flag pole, lighting and concrete pad by the St. Urho statue is stymied by a right-of-way held by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT). “So we’re probably going to have to put it on hold until we get the permits and everything figured out,” said Parks and Recreation Supervisor Bryan Soukup.
