Monroe County placed under a winter weather advisory until 3 a.m. Wednesday
At 1:13 p.m. on Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 7 p.m. until Wednesday 3 a.m. for Monroe County."Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations around a light glaze," says the weather service. "The freezing rain should be mainly for higher elevation areas within the county near and above 1200 feet."
