GASTONIA, NC – A suspect is dead after police say he opened fire on them in Gastonia. Police were called about an assault at a home on Hickory Hollow Road around 10:30 Thursday night. When they arrived, police say a relative told them that Jeremy Bonham had a gun inside the home and had fired at least one shot.
