Northeastern Ont. communities under thunderstorm warning

More heavy rain could be on the way in areas across northeastern Ontario on Monday, with severe thunderstorm warnings in place in the French River area.

Update: Severe thunderstorm warning previously issued for Clarke County will expire at 6:30 p.m.

The warning was for Clarke County."The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm," says the National Weather Service.
