Update: Pea-sized hail forecast with thunderstorms in Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and John Day Basin Friday

SOUTHERN BLUE MOUNTAINS OF OREGON, JOHN DAY BASIN, JUL 5 – Strong thunderstorms with pea-sized hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph may cause minor vegetation damage and hazardous conditions, the National Weather Service said.
