Update: Baraga and Marquette counties placed under a winter storm watch Monday – up to 6 inches of snow

An updated winter storm watch was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 8:54 p.m. EST valid for Monday between midnight EST and 1 p.m. EST for Baraga and Marquette counties."Heavy snow and blowing snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph," explains the weather service. "Windchills will fall into the -15F to -25F range by Monday morning."
