Russian drones damage foreign-flagged vessels in southern ports, Ukraine says
Russian drone strikes damaged key ports and energy infrastructure in southern and northwestern Ukraine, affecting vessels flagged to Slovakia, Palau, and Liberia, officials said.

- Damage assessments show terminals, warehouses and barges in Odesa region were hit, a Mykolaiv Oblast terminal was struck, and DTEK said two southern facilities suffered `significant damage`.
- Officials reported no civilian casualties from the strikes, with rescue and emergency services and repair crews restoring power in affected oblasts.
- Near the Polish border, drones damaged a locomotive and freight car at Kovel railway station about 60 kilometres away, and Kuleba said `Despite Russia's deliberate terror, Ukraine's logistics system continues to function.

There were no casualties in Friday's strikes, Oleksiy Kuleba said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app, but the attacks caused power cuts and damaged elevators and civilian warehouses in the Odesa region. Separately, Kuleba added, drones damaged a locomotive and a freight car at the northwestern Kovel railway station, around 60 kilometres (37.28 miles) from Poland.
The Russians launched attacks on Ukrainian ports.
