In Mainpuri, a land dispute turned into caste violence. In Urthan village of Karhal police station area, goons attacked a Dalit family with bricks and stones, in which many people including a woman were injured. Caste-related abuses and threats were also given. The police have taken action against both the parties and started investigating the land dispute.
