Unpopular, but right: Garbage fee in Ruse increases by 68% - Mediapool.bg

The Ruse Municipal Council approved on Tuesday a 68 percent increase in the garbage fee in 2025, increasing the rate for its calculation from 1.38 to 2.31 per mille of the tax assessment of the residential property. "This is an unpopular but correct decision," said Ruse Mayor Pencho Milkov, a representative of the Bulgarian Socialist Party.
