Union: Drugs, weapons among contraband found in Greene Correctional searches

Blue coffee cans containing contraband that were found by a corrections officer between two perimeter fences at the Greene Correctional on Aug. 21 prompted prison staff to conduct searches of four dorms at the facility where drugs, weapons, tattoo guns and homemade alcohol were allegedly found, according to the New York State Correctional Officer & Police Benevolent Association.
