UNI will increase tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year and has set the rent for The Quarters

At the most recent Board of Regents meeting, each of the state universities was given the green light to raise tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year. Undergraduate tuition for Iowa residents will increase by a total of $265, while tuition for in-state and out-of-state graduates will increase by $343. Nonresident undergraduate tuition will increase by $647.
