Horror on A1. BMW Driver Drove Against Traffic and Claimed that He Was… Going to Gdańsk

The 40-year-old drove against traffic on the A1 motorway for 26 kilometers, then abandoned the vehicle and continued on foot. When stopped by the traffic police, the man said he was going to Gdańsk. If arrested, he faces up to three years in prison.

When he abandoned his car, he said he was “going to Gdańsk.” His ride was witnessed by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Przemysław Koperski. “A road bandit could have reaped a deadly harvest today,” he commented.
