The UN Security Council today discussed the consolidation of peace in the West African region, raising concerns about the rise in attacks by terrorist groups. The representative of Slovenia, Saša Jurečko, also drew attention to this, stressing, among other things, the importance of preserving the regional framework for security cooperation.
