YAOUNDE, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Cameroon and the United Nations launched on Thursday a humanitarian aid plan aiming to address the "immediate and urgent needs" of 2.7 million of the Central African country's most vulnerable people, the UN said. The plan requires some 407.3 million U.S. dollars in funding to help those suffering from the effects of violence, national disaster, climate shocks, and disease outbreaks.
