In a statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration condemned “in the strongest terms the shootings targeting the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in three separate incidents, while it was conducting routine patrols near its bases in Yater, Deir Kifa and Qawiyah.”
