The blast wounded businessman Vadym Yermolaiev, his wife and their 13-year-old son, and two suspects, including a Ukrainian intelligence officer, have been detained.
The Kiev Prosecutor's Office in Ukraine announced on Thursday 9 July that a retired police officer and a member of the Ukrainian military intelligence are being prosecuted for the murder of Anastasia Berezovska, the main suspect in the explosion in Monaco. In the Principality, the investigation continues, "all leads" being still on the table.
In a media briefing, Stephane Thibaut stated that the three victims of the attempted murder are still in the hospital injured, while assistance from the Ukrainian authorities is expected to be requested.
