Ukraine to give revised peace plans to US as Kyiv readies for more talks with its coalition partners
Ukrainian officials are expected to present new peace proposals to U.S. negotiators Wednesday. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says this comes ahead of urgent talks on Thursday with leaders from about 30 countries supporting Ukraine’s efforts to end Russia's nearly 4-year-old full-scale invasion.
The changes to the peace plan are ready to be shared with Donald Trump's team. However, Ukraine complains that the US text has deteriorated since the Kremlin meeting with Putin.
The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, stated that he was ready to participate in the election of the Head of State, reporting to RBK Ukraine on 9 December.
Ukrainian President Selenskyy has shown himself open to new elections in Ukraine. However, only if the conditions for democratic elections are met. Previously, US President Trump had called for new elections.
