Ukraine strikes oil terminal, planes and ships in an array of strikes inside Russia
Ukrainian strikes damaged key military and energy infrastructure, including an oil terminal and Russian naval assets, as part of efforts to disrupt Russian war capabilities, Ukraine's General Staff said.
- On Monday, Ukrainian forces struck the Tamanneftegaz oil terminal, a pipeline and two vessels, Ukraine's General Staff said.
- As part of a wider campaign, Ukraine's General Staff said operations aim to disrupt Russian military capabilities and strike behind enemy lines, while Russian forces target commercial export and energy infrastructure in 'weaponising winter' tactics.
- Ukrainian officials said strikes also damaged a Russian drone launch facility and hit two parked jet fighters, while a Ukrainian-made missile struck a temporary base for Russia's 92nd River Boat Brigade in Olenivka, occupied Crimean Peninsula.
- On Saturday, Russian missile strikes hit the Allseeds sunflower oil terminal at Pivdennyi, destroying thousands of tonnes of oil, leaving three tanks burning and killing eight while injuring 27, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
