UF/IFAS extension holds year 15 of farm to city food distribution | Santa Rosa Press Gazette

Farm to City was started in 2010 as a way to promote agriculture in Santa Rosa and Escambia counties, and the idea of partnering with organizations like Feeding the Gulf Coast and Waterfront Rescue Mission came up in the process. In the beginning, the event was feeding around 100 families and now, fifteen years later, it feeds over 1,000 with the purpose of giving back to the community and educating people about agriculture.
