The University of Antioquia reported progress in its investigation into irregularities detected during the 2026 entrance exam for clinical-surgical specialties, in which attempted fraud linked to organized external networks was identified. According to the university report, these networks allegedly operated by offering applicants access to real-time answers in exchange for money, using technological devices and covert communication systems.
In an official statement, the University of Antioquia announced that the fraud detected in its examination of clinical-surgical specialties 2026 will not remain in the academic field.
