Two wild boars were electrocuted in Khantar village, part of the Chitrakoot forest range in Satna district. Their bodies were found in a field. An attempt had been made to slaughter one of the boars. A forest department team, responding to the information, recovered 27 wooden and bamboo stakes and approximately 1,000 pieces of wood used in the hunting.
