SALISBURY — Two people were able to escape injuries after a fire started in an attached garage on Tuesday night. Firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 2400 block of Stokes Ferry Road at 9:57 p.m. in reference to a structure fire, said Salisbury Deputy Fire Chief and Fire Marshal Terry Smith.
