Report of avalanche in Lyngen – four possibly caught in the avalanche

The 30-year-old drove with two colleagues on the Gurschenstock through a couloir. In the process, a five-by-five-metre snow avalanche broke loose.

The police are still searching for the tourist who was swept away by the avalanche in Lyngen in Troms on March 18.

The local rescue center (LRS) reports that two people were caught in the avalanche, but managed to get out on their own. The police report that they are now in telephone contact with those involved.
