Two men, 29 and 58, die during swimming leg of Mossel Bay IRONMAN

Southern Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies said the men were pulled from the water in Mossel Bay at around 07:40. According to the Mossel Bay Advertiser, the participants, aged 29 and 58, were retrieved while participants were completing the swimming portion of the triathlon.
