Another avalanche accident: At an altitude of 2,400 metres, a snowboard breaks two dozen skiers in the Alps, including Germans. There have not been as many avalanche deaths as this winter for years.

Six tourers were captured by the avalanche at the Rudererspitze near Ridnaun. Two South Tyroleans were killed, three more were sent to hospitals in critical condition.
A tragic avalanche occurred on Saturday in Ridnaun, South Tyrol. Two South Tyroleans lost their lives, and five others were injured. The deceased were a 62-year-old mountain guide for a group of Austrian ski mountaineers and a 56-year-old resident of Austria, according to rescue services.
